R.I.P. Michael Jackson
August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009
Its been almost 2 weeks, and I’m still pretty shocked about it.
I grew up listening and watching Michael Jackson. As a kid growing up, i used to try to imitate his dance moves, and sing his songs. I cant believe hes actually gone.
I remember watching moonwalker for the first time when i was little.
I remember Going to Disneyland and watching Captain E-O for the first time in 3D
I remember renting ” The Making of Thriller” On VHS.
I remember getting excited for his music video premieres that showed at 8pm on FOX MTV and BET simulcasted! Black or White, and Remember the time!
I remember watching the Micheal Jackson Anniversary Special with the Jacksons in 2001!
plus so much more.
The World Lost a Great Entertainer, and a musical icon.
Although his life has ended, his music will live on forever.
You can’t expect one player to carry the team to the championship.
Jordan couldnt do it. Kobe couldnt do it. Now Lebron couldnt do it.
Kobe has a better chance now, cause the laker team is pretty damn raw. but the magic is playing real well together as a team.
NBA Thoughts:
Real Sad about the Cavs getting eliminated. but they deserved it. W TF was up with the rest of the cavs team? Lebron put up pretty good numbers during the series. oh well.
The Magic played some really good basketball. Hopefully they keep the momentum going through the finals. I’d Rather see the Magic win, than the Lakers.
Seeing the Magic Vs the Lakers in the final, kinda eliminate my thoughts that the NBA was fixing the playoffs. the media was blowing up the whole kobe vs lebron matchup.
Ernests prediction?- Magic in 6.
For the Record:
I’m a lightweight laker hater because I will forever be bitter about the 2002 Western Conference Finals Vs the Sacramento Kings. I was a Huge Kings fan due to the combination of Bibby Peja webber, doug christie.. etc.
The Kings were SO CLOSE to winning, but this happens.
I remember that game clearly. i was in my dads room watching the game… and Yelling at the TV, and my happiness went down to sadness i less than a second.
